General Information:

A site occupied since long ago and mentioned in the Doomsday Book, the entry reading:
'Blechu holds Trenance, 60 acres and 10 sheep'

The present house was built in 1840 to replace the earlier one destroyed by fire. Trenance in Cornish means, 'The dwelling in the valley' a very appropriate description as the site has been very cleverly chosen, three-quarters of the way up the valley and just below the brow of the hillside protecting us from the prevailing westerly gales; although we are less than 1/2 mile from the coast.

Directions: Driving from Helston, take the A3083 towards the Lizard for approx. 6 miles, then the B3296 towards Mullion. Go through Mullion village taking the road to Mullion Cove. TRENANCE FARMHOUSE is on the right hand side about 1/2 mile from the village centre.

Trenance Farmhouse Bed & Breakfast consist of five very comfortable, tastefully furnished, well equipped rooms. 
Three bedrooms are located in the Farmhouse itself, the other two in buildings adjacent to the Farmhouse.
All rooms have Colour TV, tea and coffee making facilities, hair drier and shaver points.
A full English Breakfast is served in the garden room within the Farmhouse itself.
Guests have the use of the swimming pool (summer only), games rooms and laundry room.
Dogs are not permitted in the Farmhouse, but are welcome in the Smokehouse, one of the adjacent buildings, during all months excluding July & August.
Our Farmhouse accommodation in its entirety is non-smoking.

Arrival Time: We will be here to welcome you between 15.30 hrs to 18.30 hrs. If you intend to arrive outside of this time, please phone to let us know.

Bed & Breakfast in the Farmhouse
Three bedrooms are available for guests use. Two with a double bed, and one with two single beds. All rooms are en-suite, with a shower, w.c. and wash basin. There is an extra bathroom available with a bath, shower, w.c. and wash basin.

Bed & Breakfast in the Smokehouse
A bedroom with a double bed. BATH, shower, wash basin and w.c. en-suite. Three steps lead down to your own courtyard garden adjoining the Farmhouse, where the mainly 'Cornish Stone' Smokehouse has its own separate entrance.

Bed & Breakfast in Wheal Dream
Again three steps lead down into a second courtyard garden to the entrance of an exceptional well appointed double bedroom with BATH, shower and w.c. This is an extremely comfortable accommodation with both inside and outside seating.

Trenance Farmhouse, is ideally located for all local amenities, the thriving village with shops, pubs, post office, restaurants, craft centre and an art gallery, being only 1/2 mile away. One of our sandy beaches can be reached in about 10 minutes on foot, the other in about 20 minutes on foot or in 4 minutes by car. The small fishing harbour of Mullion and the cliff paths from where most of the local walks are started, are also only a short distance away.

Tariff  2006:

Prices are per person per night, with Full English Breakfast & Continental on Sundays

There is a £5.00 supplement per day for single occupancy.

A  5% discount for 3 nights or more.

A £10.00 deposit per person is required when booking, or a credit/debit card number

We highly recommend insuring your holiday booking.  If, owing to unforseen circumstances you have to cancel your booking, in whole or in part, every effort will be made to re-let. Should this prove unsuccessful the whole rent will be due.
