Mullion is set in one of the areas that Rosamunde Pilcher uses and writes about in her novels.

Our
local village shops can adequately support all your immediate needs. There are a
variety of Restaurants satisfying a
variation of eating preferences and two Pubs
which provide live music throughout
the year.
Mullion
has a 13th century church with many very interesting and historical things to
see. The Church building dominates the village,
set
as it is in the centre of a simple one way system, visitors are advised to follow signs to the adjacent free car parks.

The village
has a Tourist Office
which can help you arrange
your
accommodation;
provide you with information
about the area, and offer various excursions and
activities to you during your stay
with us. The excursions include visits to the Minack Theatre; the Eden Project
and various specialised gardens for which Cornwall has become famous. Our local
activities include Boat trips; Golf; Horse Riding and Diving.
Mullion
has two sandy beaches and a small
fishing harbour from which fresh fish can be bought direct from the local
fishermen.
Our coastline is very dramatic, wild and beautiful with spectacular cliff walks to other smaller coves and villages along the coast.

Because of our mild climate the springtime wild flowers grow in abundance along the country lanes and coast paths, making the area very popular with walkers, birdwatchers and artists.
Although
the climate is mild, in the winter months we are subjected to southwesterly
winds which whip the ocean into gigantic waves. The exhilaration of this
experience is almost beyond belief and for those people who have never witnessed
such storms and nature in its most
furious form, this provides unforgettable memories.
The local people are welcoming and provide many opportunities for you to practice your English as well as taking part in many of the varied village activities.
